DBS Chromo: four logo projectors around Marina Bay

Brief

DBS Chromo needed its event mark projected at three outdoor waterfront sites around Marina Bay for one evening, 17 September 2026: Marina Barrage, the underside of Benjamin Sheares Bridge, and the waterfront outside Marina Bay Sands, which took two units. Four logo projectors were rented for the night.

Site assessment

Before the event, the Big Shine team visited each location to choose the projection surface and image size, and to check that each unit would be bright enough against the ambient light already on site: architectural uplighting, LED installations and city light from the skyline. The surfaces differed a lot: a concrete soffit seen from below, a building fascia across a fountain pool, and open paving along the waterfront. Each one needed its own placement and image size.

Setup and handover

On the event day the team set up all four units, aligned and focused each projection on its surface, and then showed the event operators how to run the projectors themselves for the rest of the evening.
